  • Looking for a diagnosis or specialist advice for a medical condition which has a suspected genetic basis
  • Wanting to learn about genetic and genomic testing or screening options for a particular condition, including those which are more common in certain ethnic groups (e.g. Tay-Sachs disease in Ashkenazi Jews)
  • Having a personal or family history of a medical condition and wanting to know if there is an increased risk of developing the condition, as well as ways to manage the risk
  • When planning a family, wanting to know if there is a high risk of genetic conditions for your future children*
  • Wanting to learn about or access genomic testing as part of a personalised health assessment
*Please note that the Genome. One Clinical Service does not accept referrals during pregnancy. For urgent pregnancy referrals please contact the nearest maternal-fetal medicine unit or clinical genetics service.
